Shows a domed low-rise building with an adjoining 30-story skyscraper at the corner of Broad and Chestnut Streets. The domed building was designed by Frank Furness and built in 1908 for the Girard Trust Company. In 1930, the bank began construction of the adjoining tower, designed by McKim, Mead and White. In 2000 the building complex was converted into a 350-room Ritz-Carlton Hotel.
