Halftone reproduction of photograph published in Moses King's Philadelphia and Notable Philadelphians. 1901. Shows the facade of the financial institution at the corner of 7th and Market Street. Built in 1884 for The Penn National Bank, the building was designed by Frank Furness. The Declaration House, in which Thomas Jefferson wrote the Declaration of Independence, was reconstructed on this site in 1975.
