Halftone reproduction published in Moses King's Philadelphia and Notable Philadelphians (1901). Shows the Guarantee Trust and Deposit Company building on Chestnut Street's "Bank Row". Designed by the notable architectural firm Furness and Hewitt, the striking building was constructed between 1873 and 1875. The facade of Carpenter's Hall can be seen in the distance.

Halftone reproduction of an illustration published in Moses King's Philadelphia and Notable Philadelphians, 1901. Shows an artist's rendition of the Corn Exchange National Bank located on "Bank Row" at Second and Chestnut Streets. Designed by the architectural firm of Newman and Harris, the building was completed c1901. Over the next thirty years it underwent several alterations and additions by Horace Trumbauer, most notably the construction of a clock tower.

Newspaper clipping showing a sketch of a two-story rowhouse utilised as a commerical property. A signboard, running the width of the facade, sits above the eaves with the inscription "The Firemen's Insurance Company." The building, like those adjacent, has a dormer window, and window shutters on the second floor. An awning frame and clutter on the sidewalk suggests a run-down neighborhood. The street is cobblestoned. The caption refers to a well-publicised robbery that took place in this building when it was occupied by the Kensington National Bank.
