Advertisement for the Philadelphia Saving Fund Society as published in the guide book Philadelphia As It Is..(1852). Depicts the home of the bank at 306 Walnut Street (68, in old numbering), from 1840 until 1869. Lists officers and managers as well as business hours.

Halftone reproduction of an illustration depicting the third home of the United States Mint. Nearly a block long, the building has a Roman Temple facade with massive Ionic columns above the entranceway. The landmark building was designed by James Knox Taylor, a supervisory architect for many Federal and Government buildings. The Mint operated here from 1901 to 1969. The Community College of Philadelphia acquired the premises in 1973.
