Depicts the home of the First Bank of the United States from 1794, when the building was completed, to 1811, when the its charter expired. Stephen Girard purchased the bank's stock as well as its building in 1812, and Girard's Bank occupied the building until 1929. Designed by Samuel Blodgett, the Greek Revival style building is listed as a National Historic Landmark.
