Depicts the north facade of the Second Bank of the United States, facing Chestnut Street.  This Greek revival masterpiece by William Strickland was completed in 1824 for the United States Bank of Philadelphia - the nation's Central Bank. Both the north and south facades are built of Pennsylvania Blue Marble, and feature a set of steps leading up to a main level platform on top of which sit eight Doric columns.

Engraving also shows people in front of the building engaged in a variety of activities.
