Half of a stereoscopic view of the Quaker Almshouse taken by notable Philadelphia photographer James Cremer. The cottage, erected 1713, was one of several small houses built to accomodate poor members of the Society of Friends. It was torn down in 1876. A seated woman sits posing in front of the house.

Shows the Quaker Almshouse, erected 1713, torn down 1876. Two women are seated on a bench at the side of the building. This was one of several small houses built to accomodate the poor members of the Society of Friends.
