Notes: Single item: Illustration showing the Masonic Hall on Filbert Street between Eighth and Ninth Streets. The Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania secured this, their first building, in 1802. Growing membership quickly forced a move to a new hall on Chestnut Street built for them in 1809. Shows the cupola on the roof surmounted by masonic symbols. Ink drawing, n.d. 25.2 x 33.1cm.
