Item 1, top: Illustration of the armory of the Third Regiment National Guard of Pennsylvania, located on the northeast corner of 12th and Reed Streets in South Philadelphia. Billhead with handwritten date October 30th. 1886. Image size: 20.2 x 9.0cm
Item 2, middle: Engraving on wood of the Philadelphia Gas Works complex. Shows three retort houses in which the gas is manuafctured. In the left foreground a man and a woman picnic in a secluded spot, and another couple on horseback gallop on the unpaved road beyond. A horse and wagon makes its way in the opposite direction. Image size: 21.5 x 15.0cm
Item 3, bottom: Another engraving, printed on tinted paper, of the Philadelphia gas works complex. The retort houses and the telescopic gasholder are identified along with their dimensions. The Engineer, or Superintendant of the works is also identified as J. C. Cresson. Image size: 21.5 x 7.0cm
