Shows a bird's-eye-view of north Broad Street from City Hall. The tower in the right foreground belongs to the Masonic Temple with the spire of the Arch Street Methodist Church rising above it. The First Baptist Church is on the left, located on the Northwest corner of Broad and Arch Streets, and beyond it the museum of the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts is nearing completion. Scaffolding is visible on the facade of the Frank Furness-designed building, which opened in 1876.
