Depiction of south side of Market Street showing a busy scene in front of C. H. Garden & Co., 606-608 Market. Shows a teeming confusion of carts, carriages, wagons and trolley cars on the street. A delivery wagon is being loaded in front of the store, and the sidewalk is bustling with pedestrians.

Halftone reproduction of a photograph, published in the Evening Public Ledger, showing the facades of buildings at the southwest corner of Tenth and Market Streets. Signage establishes the address of J. Clifford Shoch & Co., seller of stoves, heaters and ranges, as 1002 Market Street. Shows people and goods on the sidewalk, and a nearby delvery wagon belonging to the company waits at the curb. Next door, a sign displays the name of Charles Ellis, Son & Co.
