A sign on the side of the trolley indicates the Pennsylvania, New York and Baltimore RR Depots. On the end wall of the buildings beyond is a painted sign advertising Snellenburg & Co. Clothing. 5th. South and Passyunk Ave. Other painted signs are for the Knickerbocker Ice Co. Railroad tracks on 38th Steet cross the cobblestones in the foreground.
