Originally published as a flyer by the rival Pennsylvania Railroad, the cartoon bore the caption: "President MacLeod to his fellow citizens: 'Now then, ladies and gents, cast your eyes over this picture of my new terminal station at 12th and Market, and I'm sure you'll agree with me when I say that the Pennsy's shop up the street isn't in it.' "
