Item pdcc01039, bottom right [image dimensions 8.7 cm x 12.5 cm]:
Depicts the Reading Railroad Company's building on the Northeast corner of 4th & Willing's Alley. Shows a passing horse-drawn cart laden with boxed goods, and a coach and horses drawn up in front of the building, on Fourth Street. The building became known as the Willings, named after the Revolutionary War financier Thomas Willings who owned a mansion on the block. It was converted to luxury condominiums.

Depicts the building of the financial institution which stood on the Southeast corner of Third and Walnut Street. Shows a horsecar passing by and a horse-drawn carriage parked. The Delaware Mutual Safety Insurance Company was chartered in 1835 writing fire and marine insurance.
