Engraving on wood depicting an unruly crowd at Dock Street wharf during the Bi-Centennial celebration of William Penn's landing in Philadelphia in 1682. Shows various vessels on the Delaware River adorned with bunting. An official greeting party waits for the representatives of Penn to disembark from the ship "Welcome", which has just arrived at the wharf. In the left foreground well-dressed ladies and gentleman view the spectacle from a higher vantage point.
