Written on paper, the Arabic text is written in the naskh calligraphic style. This style of Arabic calligraphy usually written with a cava pen enables scribes to write smaller characters more easily and quickly. 

This text represents a Sharia and Islamic law explanation according to Muhammad Bin Idriss Al-Shafeii.  This text is significant in that it shows notes made by different readers in the margins, as well as red subheadings in the text itself
