In July, the Free Library launched its new strategic plan for the next three years. This plan is a refresh of our prior five-year plan and keeps the same mission:

Advance literacy, guide learning, and inspire curiosity

and vision:

Building an enlightened community devoted to life-long learning

The mission and vision are supported by three overarching goals, encompassing the work we want to build on and advance in the coming years. These three goals are simple and to the point:

• Build a Culture of Literacy in Philadelphia
• Deliver an Exceptional Customer Experience
• Embrace Creativity and Innovation
