The Free Library of Philadelphia would like to extend our sincerest sympathies to the Nepalese and Bhutanese communities in Philadelphia during these difficult times following the aftermath of the devastating earthquake last week. Now is the time to act.  The earlier you give, the better.  The days following a disaster is when outside help is most critical.There are many organizations petitioning for funds. The Better Business Bureau has offered some tips and a publicized list of charities that are providing aid to Nepal and also meet the BBB's accountability standards.
