Just like the first volume, a good story smothered by a lack of editing, focus or vocabularial variety.

As always, Rollins delivers a masterful blend of science class and thrill ride.

Privately published collection compiled by Volkswagen of America - the covers had stickers attached with contact info for the various regional dealers. An absolutely brilliant piece of marketing - no one ever throws books away. The vast majority are one panel New-Yorker style cartoons riffing on the VW's small size, although there are a few humorous essays of a more generally automotive nature included as well.

Slightly dated with being printed in 1991 (many of the places and people mentioned in the present tense are closed or dead), but I couldn't come up with any major innovations in the last quarter century that would require an updated version either.

A bit odd that the titular plot piece is only the third most interesting storyline in the book.

There is something bittersweet about entering a book almost a century old into Goodreads. The juxtaposition of the joy of of discovering, if not a lost work, at least a forgotten one is balanced against the vague sorrow of Ozymandias.

The five people Drinkwater describes are completely real, completely of their time, and, in the modern world, doomed to a void. 

Read and remember.

Like all Berry books, this one puts the thinnest of fictional spins on a contemporary issue and makes a fascinating thriller out of it. Also as always, Berry helpfully puts a notes section at the end, documenting what is real and what few things he added or speculated.
Scariest of all, the premise - What if Income Tax isn't constitutional - is all to plausibly presented.

Lobo is only about a third of the book, thankfully. The only thing worse than Lobo is the rest of the garbage Liefeld stuffed in this collection.

Nice anecdotes about growing up and life on the road as a comedian, interspersed with less entertaining oddities like a short comic and a poem fragment. Worth reading if you're a fan.
