Depicts a stone arched bridge spanning Perkiomen Creek with a cluster of houses in the town of Collegeville beyond. Built in 1799 with extensive renovations in 1928, it is one of the oldest stone arched bridges in Pennsylvania. On high ground in the distance Freeland Institute and Pennsylvania Female College are identified. The campus of Ursinus College now occupies the site of Freeland Institute.
