The School District of Philadelphia is excited to announce that for the first time the School Selection Process has moved entirely online. In order to apply to schools, students and families should visit schoolselect.philasd.org in order to access the School Selection Online Application. Here you will find the resources and information you need to apply to The School District of Philadelphia’s various exciting school and program offerings.

Students and families who wish to attend a school that is not their neighborhood elementary, middle, or high school in September 2015, in grades K-12, should participate in the School Selection process. All 8^th graders applying to high schools for the next school year should use this online application. This process applies to everyone who wishes to attend a School District of Philadelphia school for the 2015-2016 school year, regardless of whether they currently attend a District, charter, or private school. We encourage you to work with your school’s counselor to determine the right school options for you and your child.

The application is open until December 12 at 5:00 p.m.
