Notes:
The Lamb Tavern was built in the first decade of the 19th Century between two roads, one known as the Fall's road and the other as Islington Lane, in the East Falls section of the city. In its day it was a famous hostelry, being the rendezvous for many fashionable coaching and sleighing parties from the city proper. It was also a great haunt for actors, lawyers and other professional men, the actor Edwin Forrest being particularly fond of its good cheer. It was demolished sometime in the 1890s.
