Where Can You Source Your Food in Philly? P&F Giordano Fruit and Produce
After hosting Golden Handmade Tortilla last month, South Philly Barbacoa chef, Cristina Martinez returns to the Culinary Literacy Center, serving up handmade tortillas, mozzarella cheese, and Mexican green sauce. This class will feature foods sourced from P & F Giordano Fruit and Produce. Paula and Frances Giordano opened their produce stand in the Italian Market in 1921, expanding it over the years. Giordano Garden Groceries also does work with charitable organizations in Philadelphia such as MANNA and the Lutheran Settlement House.
Space is limited and priority will be given to registered attendees. Tickets will be honored up until 5:20 pm, please arrive by 5:15 pm to guarantee your seat. At 5:20 pm, we will fill open seats. Please email kitchen@freelibrary.org for more information.
