Sustainability: Part 1 Selected Themes of Sustainability in Architecture and Design

Join us at 5:30 pm. for a presentation on a selection of themes in architecture and design, which reflect and anticipate the expanding notion of sustainability both environmentally and culturally. Q&A with the audience will follow the presentation.
Afterwards, at 7:00 pm., we'll move to the Culinary Literary Center where Jonathan Deutsch will do a talk, demonstration, and tasting of upcycled food.
Speaker:
Francesco Sgrazzutti is a Registered Architect in Italy and the UK, with his own design practice in Philadelphia. He currently teaches Interior Architecture and Design at Jefferson University and Moore College of Art and Design. Jonathan Deutsch, PhD, CHE, CRC, is professor in the Departments of Food and Hospitality Management and Nutrition Sciences at Drexel University and a certified hospitality educator.
This program is free and open to the public and will be held in the Skyline Room on the 4th Floor of Parkway Central Library.
