The Free Library's flagship program is a summer reading challenge for all ages. Participants can attend library programs, find new books to read, and explore activities to stay engaged throughout the summer. Sign up at your neighborhood library or participate in an online challenge. The Free Library has activities for all ages!

How to Participate in Person

Stop by your neighborhood library to find out about summer programming and to sign up for summer reading. The take-home Summer of Wonder Activity Logs (available in English and Spanish) allow children to keep track of reading and library activities, and earn prizes upon completion. Teens can earn prizes throughout the summer and enter a raffle for a chance to win a grand prize! Adults can also enter a raffle by reading, attending library programs, and much more!

Free Library of Philadelphia staff can visit camps, schools, and other groups for special summer programming. Call your neighborhood library to schedule a visit.
