Notes: A choir (or ferial) psalter contains the Psalms in the order that they were read in the weekly services of the Church. This page contains Psalm 26, which begins, "Dominus inluminatio mea et salus mea quem timebo" (The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear?).

The similarities between the bindings on Lewis E 221-234, as well as their common provenance, suggests that, at least in the eighteenth-century, they served as a set of liturgical manuscripts for a single religious institution.
