Snapshot: A Brief History of Snapshot Photography

The history of snapshot photography is one of ordinary people documenting the activities of their daily lives, the places they lived and visited, and the friends and family that surrounded them. This exhibit includes cameras, snapshots, family albums, and camera advertisements which chronologically illustrate the role snapshot cameras and their photographs play in looking at ourselves.
This exhibition is located in the Art Hallway Gallery on the second floor of the Parkway Central Library.It runs from Monday, June 22 to Sunday, September 6, 2015.
