Exhibition Reception: Photography Without Borders
Art Department at Parkway Central Library
Work by young photographers made by Photography Without Borders students in partnership with Philadelphia's Taller Puertorriqueño will be on display in the Art & Literature Department as well as the Art Department hallway gallery, throughout March and April 2025.
Photography Without Borders teaches young artists to tell their stories through photography to a wider audience. The program at Taller Puertorriqueño is in the heart of the North Philadelphia barrio for high school aged students as they emerge into working artists and entrepreneurs. Participants learn traditional film photography, digital media, and video production while exploring their identities and forming meaningful perspectives in a supportive environment.
Join us for a reception with the photographers on Saturday, March 8th, starting at 2:00pm.
