First Friday Art Walk
Social Science and History Department at Parkway Central Library
Explore Art, History and Community-One Step at a Time!
Are you interested in connecting with art lovers, sharing stories, and soaking in the city's rich cultural tapestry? If yes, join us on the First Friday of every month for a creative stroll through Philadelphia's vibrant art scene.
We'll kick things off at the Parkway Central Library, then walk together to Old City, stopping to admire historic landmarks like PAFA, and the Dream Garden glass mosaic located in the Curtis Center along the way. Our final stop will be the Museum for Art in Wood, nestled near 3rd & Arch Streets, where you can explore the galleries at your own pace. Optional visits to Arch Enemy Arts and other local gems await!
We meet outside at 5:00 PM in front of the Parkway Central Library.
