Honoring the Seven Principles: A Kwanzaa Celebration

This culturally rooted program will celebrate the legacy and values of Kwanzaa through the lens of Black heritage and collective empowerment. Participants will learn about the Nguzo Saba (Seven Principles), experience storytelling and cultural expression, and explore how Kwanzaa connects to healing, identity, and unity in the Black community. A brief introduction to BASL (Black American Sign Language) will be included, highlighting its cultural significance.
The event will take place in The Central Children's Department's Storyhour Room.
