Author Talk | Betrayed: Violence Against Women
Social Science and History Department at Parkway Central Library
Cost: FREE
In a career that spanned four decades, Meg Groff worked as a legal aid attorney for woman and children victims of domestic violence. Not If I Can Help It: A Family Lawyer’s Battles for Justice for Victims of Domestic Violence and the Poor is Groff’s account, which includes both the challenges and rewards found in their work. Join us on the Fourth Floor of Parkway Central for an afternoon of discussion and reflection on Groff’s career.
The discussion will be followed by a complimentary anthology poetry reading, courtesy of the Moonstone Arts Center.
