Moore College of Art and Design's Film and Digital Cinema Thesis Screening

The Graduating Seniors of Moore's FDC program will present their thesis videos Monday May 5th 5:30-7:00 in the Skyline Room, 4th floor of the Parkway Central Library at 1901 Vine Street, Philadelphia.
These five young artists have created ambitious and distinct projects ranging from documentary, to narrative, to experimental works, as well as a screenplay for sitcom pilot which will be read live!
The pieces are at turns poignant, funny and sociologically incisive. Shared together they represent a wide array of aesthetic and conceptual approaches to storytelling and artistic creation.
The artists will be present at the screening and a small reception will follow: Bria Parks, Haniyah Booker, Jamie Seip, Morgan O’Halloran and Andrea Pineda.
FRIGHT CLUB (2025, 15 minutes, 4K). After starting their ghost-hunting YouTube channel, two best friends relationship will be put to the test when one of them falls for the ghost they're meant to capture.
Gremlins. (2025, 17 minutes HD). In Gremlins, viewers are invited to watch as the players of Gremlins HC, a women’s hockey team from Philadelphia, share the story of their humble beginnings while the group battles for their very first playoff spot in a tough new division.
Hoiman’s (2025, pilot screenplay, 28 pages). “Hoiman’s” is a half-hour, animated, adult comedy television series that revolves around a funeral home and its staff, when the newest hire discovers she has the ability to resurrect after death.
Tides of Youth (2025, 6 minutes, HD). Struggling with escapism, a girl gets lost in her own aquatic dreamscape but as she dives deeper into the fantasy reality begins to fade.
Goodbye, Fishy (2025, 7 minutes, HD). After the death of their childhood pet fish, two former best friends come together for a burial, confronting the past and the strained bond between them.
