This "medical play" opportunity will allow children to explore medical equipment (play and real) in a non-threatening manner. This can clarify misconceptions about the hospital or medical treatments, help children cope with medical encounters, and allow children to work through fears and anxiety associated with their own experiences.
This program is led by the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
Groups must call ahead to reserve space.
