Let's Eat: Papier-Mâché Workshop
Education Philosophy and Religion Department at Parkway Central Library
We invite you to *fake* bread with us in this 3-part workshop! Participants will design, construct, and decorate "food" out of papier-mâché. Together, we will create a delightful shared meal for your eyes to feast on.
The creativity workshops will take place in the Education, Philosophy, and Religion Department, Room 205 at Parkway Central Library. Each workshop will begin at 5:30 p.m. and wrap up by 7:30 p.m. All materials will be provided, and we encourage participants to work with recycled objects.
This is a 3-part workshop, and we recommend attending at least 2 sessions:
Tuesday, November 12: research, design, construction, paper mache
Tuesday, November 19: construction, paper mache
Tuesday, November 26: paper mache, painting, decoration
We recommend attending all 3 sessions to complete your project. You're welcome to join us at a later session; please come ready with your idea. Drying time is necessary between the papier-mâché and painting sessions.
To RSVP for all 3 sessions, please visit tinyurl.com/papierfeast.
