Celebrate Latino Stories and Culture at the Latin American Book Fair!
By Mary Marques
The heart of Philadelphia will beat to the rhythm of Latin American stories this fall! Join us for the 7th Edition of the Latin American Book Fair, a vibrant celebration of literature, art, music, and culture — now for the first time at the iconic Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, a landmark on the Avenue of the Arts.
This annual tradition, organized in collaboration with the Mexican Cultural Center, is a cornerstone of Hispanic Heritage Month in Philadelphia. With Mexico as this year’s guest country, the fair will bring together nearly 30 authors for a day of storytelling and cultural exchange.
Featured Illustrators and Authors
Cindy Lozito
Meet Philadelphia-based Latina muralist, children’s book illustrator, and cartoonist Cindy Lozito, whose art has appeared at the World Trade Center, The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, and the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Cindy will debut as a children’s book illustrator in April 2026 with What Kind of Queen?, a dazzling biography of activist and drag queen José Sarria.

Odilón Adán Robles
Author and inspiring thinker Odilón Adán Robles returns to the fair to present his third literary project — a moving romance novel that continues his exploration of human potential and freedom of thought. From self-publishing in cities across Mexico to sharing his vision from Pennsylvania, Odilón’s journey is a testament to the power of literature to inspire a fuller life.
