Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with Cultural Events Around Philadelphia

This mid-month celebration runs from September 15 to October 15 to include the Independence Days of Belize, Chile, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, and Nicaragua — while also celebrating the myriad histories and contributions of Spanish, Mexican, Caribbean, Central American, and South Americans who have enriched the cultural tapestry of the United States.
This Hispanic Heritage Month, many events for children, adults, and families are happening at Free Library branches and around the City of Philadelphia.
