Have you always wanted to make a difference in someone’s life? Have you wanted to use your knowledge and experience to give back to the Philadelphia community? Then consider becoming a tutor with the Free Library of Philadelphia!

As a library tutor, you can make a change in someone’s education, whether by helping an adult obtain their high school diploma or teaching someone how to read, write, or speak English.

We welcome tutors of all subjects and skill levels, but are especially seeking those out with experience helping adult learners in basic skills like reading and math, high school equivalency preparation, or English language learning. Tutoring sessions can be conducted virtually.

If interested in becoming a tutor, please complete this registration form. Languages & Learning Center staff will get back to you shortly.
