UPDATE - Changes to Our Electronic Resources and Databases

By Jamie W. RSS Thu, September 12, 2013

Over the summer we blogged about a number of changes coming to our electronic resources and databases. The last of those changes has finally gone into effect.

The Free Library will no long provide access to Dun & Bradstreet's Million Dollar Database or Mergent Online, though researchers who had previously relied on these resources will still be able to find the majority of the information they need using our site.

For in-depth coverage of large businesses (public and private) as well as industry analysis, try Business Insights Global. Business Insights Global includes much of the information found in D&B. For example, company profiles, financials, market share, and company news are all available. You will also find information on international companies and industries.

For researchers looking to compile lists and profiles of large numbers of businesses (large and small, public and private), ReferenceUSA is a great choice. ReferenceUSA includes verified listings for over 15 million US businesses. ReferenceUSA is an excellent tool for researchers, sales people looking for leads, job seekers building contact lists, and entrepreneurs compiling lists of local and national competitors for a business plan.

Give these resources a try today.
