Recognized with 132 Pulitzer Prizes and appreciated by over nine million subscribers globally, we are happy to announce that the Free Library's daily New York Times subscription has been added to our PressReader database — with a backfile of its issues to 2010!

This access is in addition to our New York Times at the Library and New York Times Anywhere resources available on our database page.

PressReader provides digital-print replicas (as if you were reading the print edition) or text-view mode, if you prefer, to content from the U.S. and all over the world — publications such as the Philadelphia Inquirer (with backfile issues to 2003), Chicago TribuneBoston GlobeThe GuardianLa RazonDer TagesspiegelThe Globe and Mail, Daily MailL’ÉquipeLibérationEl Pais, Dainik Jagran, and Le Figaro — plus more than 6,300 additional full-issue newspapers, many with extensive backfiles.

There is also a PressReader mobile app available on iOS and Android devices! Read publications from 120 countries in 60 languages. You can listen to the text in audio format, too, or translate these publications into 20 different languages. Download current and future issues for offline reading in the app, and read as many as you want. There are no monthly limits!

You can personalize your reading experience in the "For You" section to choose countries, languages, and interests. You can search PressReader publications for relevant articles using keywords such as "Embiid" or "Johnstown" to find references to particular subjects or places.

Also included in our PressReader subscription is the popular magazine The Economist, which covers international business, current affairs, politics, culture, and technology.

You will need a Free Library of Philadelphia library card and PIN to access PressReader. If you do not have a library card, you can sign up for one today. You will find a link to PressReader on our database page or download the free mobile app at your app store. Happy reading!
