Carl Hiaasen was born and raised in Florida. His nine previous novels include Sick Puppy, Lucky You, Stormy Weather, and Hoot, a 2003 Newbery honor title. A two-time Pulitzer Prize finalist for his journalism, Hiassen writes a twice-weekly metropolitan column for the Miami Herald. Skinny Dip is a "hilarious, full-throttle" ride through the warped politics of money and the human heart by a master of the genre.
