County Dublin-born Nuala O'Faolain joins the ranks of the "serial memoirists" with her most
recent memoir, Almost There: The Onward Journey of a Dublin Woman. According to the
Library Journal this memoir "picks up where O'Faolain's celebrated Are You Somebody? left
off." Others call it "a crystalline reflection of a singular character, utterly engaged in life."
O'Faolain is a columnist for the Irish Times and also produces and announces for
Ireland's Radio Telefis Eireann.
