Knit Happens! And it's not just for grannies anymore… Debbie Stoller, co-Founder and Editorial Director of femme-forward Bust magazine, will discuss the techniques and stories from her book, Stitch 'n Bitch: The Knitter's Handbook, and show off projects that will have you knitting yourself into a frenzy in no time. Ms. Stoller, a.k.a. Celina Hex, also established the NYC Stitch N’ Bitch knitting circle, which has inspired similar groups in more than 100 cities worldwide including PHILADELPHIA. Not only is knitting a great creative outlet, but it's also very relaxing and meditative. Best of all, at the end of the day (er... month... year…), you have something new to wear! So bring your yarn and your yarns to meet one of the women behind the "new girl order" and please bring a finished project or work in progress to show!
