Walter Isaacson has served as Editorial Director of Time, Inc. and Managing Editor of Time magazine. In 2001, he became chairman and CEO of the CNN News Group; during his tenure, CNN won four Emmy Awards. In early 2003, Isaacson left CNN to become President and CEO of the Aspen Institute, a prominent think tank. He is the author of the acclaimed biography Kissinger and The Wise Men, a history of US diplomacy from the 1930's through the Vietnam War.
