Chip Kidd, "The closest thing to a rock star in graphic design today" (USA Today), designs book jackets that "make readers appreciate books as objects of art as well as literature (Publisher's Weekly). Recently honored with an exhibition at the Cooper Hewitt National Design Museum, Kidd is an associate art director at Alfred A. Knopf and an editor-at-large for Pantheon Books. His new novel, The Learners, is an entertaining follow-up to his bestselling debut, The Cheese Monkeys.
