An experienced combat reporter and expert on terrorism, Christopher Dickey is Newsweek magazine's Paris bureau chief and Middle East regional editor. His "Shadowland" column, dealing with terrorism, appears weekly on Newsweek Online. He is the author of the non-fiction titles With the Contras and Expats: Travels in Arabia, from Tripoli to Teheran. The Sleeper is the sequel to his fictional thriller, Innocent Blood.
