Legendary rock-and-roll artist Tommy James is the creator of dozens of memorable hit songs, including "I Think We’re Alone Now," "Mony Mony," "Crimson and Clover," "Sweet Cherry Wine," "Crystal Blue Persuasion," and "Draggin' the Line." As the leader of Tommy James and the Shondells he has sold more than 100 million records, has been awarded 23 gold singles, and nine gold and platinum albums. His songs regularly appear on television and film soundtracks, and they have been covered by many famous artists, including Joan Jett, Billy Idol, Tiffany, and Prince. His new book follows his lengthy career, from his start at age 12 in a small town in Michigan to his work with the infamous Morris Levy at Roulette Records.
