Begun with The Prodigy and continued in The Cubist Rebel, John Richardson’s lavishly illustrated biography, A Life of Picasso, provides groundbreaking insight into the artist’s life and work, as drawn from conversations with the artist, interviews, and unpublished archival materials. Volume three reveals Picasso at the height of his powers in prewar Rome and Naples. John Richardson is also the author of books on Manet and Braque. He has served as head of Christie’s United States operations and is a contributor to the New Yorker and Vanity Fair.
