The forthcoming PBS series The Jewish Americans is a comprehensive look at the trials and accomplishments of the Jewish-American community from the mid-17th century to the present day. Beth S. Wenger, the Katz Family Chair in American Jewish History at the University of Pennsylvania, serves on the board of scholars advising PBS and is the author of the series’ companion volume.
