Winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Founding Brothers and the National Book Award for American Sphinx, Joseph Ellis is the Ford Foundation Professor of History at Mount Holyoke College. In American Creation, Ellis argues that part of what made the American Revolution so extraordinary was its gradual pace and the fact that it was brought about by a group of (now iconic) leaders, rather than a single individual.
An American Sign Language interpreter will be present for the entire event.
