Photographer Mary Ellen Mark is renowned for her humanist portraits of people and cultures. Presented in books and exhibitions, or appearing in publications like the New Yorker and Vanity Fair, her work often addresses complex social issues. Since the 1960s, she has also worked on more than 100 film sets as a special stills photographer.
